World Education Nepal produced a documentary overview of the Building Better Futures program, which implements activities in source communities and brick factories to expand livelihood options for individuals and families who are at risk of exploitation through bonded labor contracts at seasonal brick factories.
In addition to promoting economic inclusion through financial literacy and microfinance initiatives, efforts under the diverse Building Better Futures portfolio improve the quality of education for children of brick factory families and provide expanded opportunities for income generation through water management, livestock and fodder use trainings.
